Huge changes in WB Primary Teacher Recruitment Process

The process for West Bengal Primary Teacher recruitment exam has been changed. The Government of West Bengal has decided to centralize the recruitment procedure. The Govt. has given the power of recruitment to the hands' of West Bengal Board of Primary Education.


Earlier the District Primary School Council (DPSC) has the sole power to conduct the recruitment exam and verify the panel. After the changes, the board will do the same task as the DPSC did.


The pattern of recruitment exam has also been changed. The recruitment exam for Primary Teacher consists of 50 marks where as earlier it was 100 marks!


Also the weightage marks of TET exam have been reduced to 5 marks only from 40 marks. Simultaneously, the allotted marks for educational qualification such as Madhyamik, Higher Secondary, D.Ed, Interview have been decreased. We have given here the changes of marks-


The WB Govt. has given the reason of this change is that it would less the corruption. But some says it would result in increasing of the corruption.

WBSSC CGL 2014 Result declared: Cutoff Marks released

Good News friends! West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) has just published the result of Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2014 written exam which was conducted on 12th April, 2015. After around two and half months, the result of written test has been published. There are total 4 posts which will be recruited through WBSSC CGL exam. The posts are- Backward Classes Welfare Inspector, Minority Development Officer, Research Investigator and Fishery Extension Officer.


The cutoff marks for different posts have also been released. We are giving here the details of category-wise cutoff marks of WBSSC CGL 2014 exam.


Cutoff Marks for Backward Classes Welfare Inspector post:

  • UR - 79.625
  • OBC (A) - 71.75
  • OBC (B) - 78.875
  • SC - 66.875
  • ST - 56.50

Cutoff Marks for Minority Development Officer :

  • UR - 98.875
  • OBC (A) - 88.125
  • OBC (B) - 90.375

SSC CHSL 2014 Main (Descriptive) Result declared

Good News! Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared today the result of main exam that is descriptive paper. The cutoff marks in descriptive paper for Data Entry Operator (DEO) and Lower Division Clerk (LDC) have been released too. The number of candidates who have qualified for Data Entry Skill for DEO and Typing Test for LDC are given below-

United India Insurance Company (UIIC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of Assistant in its organization. They are going to recruit around 750 posts in this financial year.
