Vacancy, Eligibility details for SSC Stenographer 2014 Recruitment

Vacancy: There are total 534 posts. The category-wise vacancy details are as follows-

  • Stenographer Grade-C post : 38 (UR 27, OBC 4, SC 1, ST 6)
  • Stenographer Grade-D post : 496 (UR 300, OBC 101, SC 62, ST 33)

Age Limit: Between 18-27 years as on 01.08.2014.

Educational Qualification: Candidates are required to pass 12th standard exam or equivalent from a recognized institution/board.

Scale of Pay: Pay scale and salary for SSC Stenographer (Grade C&D) posts are given below-

  • Grade-C post: Rs.9300-34800 with a grade pay of Rs.4600.
  • Grade-D post: Rs.5200-20200 with a grade pay of Rs.2400.



How to apply for SSC Stenographer Gr. C&D 2014 recruitment Exam

Application Fees: Rs. 100 for General and OBC candidates. No application fee is required for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Women candidates. Application fees must be submitted either through Online (internet banking) or Offline (bank payment challan).

How to apply: Candidates can apply through only online mode of application. There is no other mode of application is available there. You can through official website of SSC.

SSC CGL 2013 Re-Exam may be on 13th July, 2014: Source

Meanwhile the Ex-Chairman of SSC, Mr. N.K. Raghupathy tweeted that CGL 2013 re-exam is going to be conducted on 13.07.2014 in the rest of centres. He has also said that SSC CGL 2013 Tier-II re-exam may be held in October/ November, 2014 and the interview in February, 2015. The result of SSC CGL 2013 re-exam (Tier-I & II) is expected to be published in April-May, 2015. Now let's see what actually N.K. Raghupathy posted in Twitter and Facebook-
It is reliably learnt that the reexamination of Tier I of CGLE 2013 may be held on 13th July 2014 in the other centres and Tier II sometimes in Oct-Nov 2014. Interviews may be in February 2015 and, therefore, final results can be expected in April-May 2015......


Now we can't ignore the news from Mr. Raghupathy and this news, he got, must be reliable. So friends, wait for official notice which is going to be released soon. Finger Crossed!

Complete review of Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant exam held on 27.04.2014

Well, after studying the question paper, we have realized that this year's question paper was the easiest paper than that of previous year's question papers other than the general knowledge part.. 

Reasoning - First go for reasoning section. It was a easy section. Question were asked from analogy, series, non-verbal, basic relational problem etc.

English - Questions were from error correction, synonym, antonym, passage, preposition etc.

Numerical Aptitude - Section was easy. Questions are asked from time and work, time and distance, number system, profit and loss etc.

General Knowledge - This section was quite tough part. We will publish soon general knowledge question here.

So friends, if you have scored above 60-65 marks, you have a bright chance!
